Hi, I’m Toni

My mission is to create powerful websites for purpose-driven businesses, charities, and nonprofits dedicated to making meaningful impacts.

Whether it's championing social good, protecting our planet, or advancing sustainability, I'm all in for the journey if it means doing good! ❤︎

Where did it all start?

I was that artsy kid obsessed with microsoft paint back in the 90’s! I’ve always been creative ever since I can remember. I loved to draw, paint, create pretend books and I even made cardboard sculptures for my pet hamster (to my mothers despair!) So I guess you can say it was inevitable that I went on to study illustration and graphic design in my early 20’s.

Since then, I have written and illustrated a couple of local children’s books that have been very successful. Standing up in schools telling children all about my creative geekiness was great fun! All this was whilst juggling full time jobs in corporate marketing roles. I loved illustration work, but for me it wasn’t a long term career, more of a side hobby really.

You get the Squarespace thing right?

Anyway, you get the Squarespace thing right? So after a few years in this role and after a lot of contemplating, I realised that something was holding me back. Feeling undervalued and unappreciated was draining my passion and affecting my creativity.

That's when I made the bold decision to take the leap and venture out on my own. Armed with years of experience and learning, I found the courage to pursue my dream with unwavering determination!

After a couple of years I became the creative director of a small marketing company which was very exciting! It was a demanding role, but I rose to the challenge.

As we were a small company it meant that literally everything we did was in-house and managed by just 3 people. It was in this role where I discovered Squarespace 'hallelujah!’ - a website builder that actually made clear sense to me from the get go! (I was by far no expert in web design at this point by the way). I fell in love with the platform, I began to learn more and more every day by building websites for new clients, and eventually I even started picking up the basics of CSS coding, which was initially mind boggling to me. Now I write my own CSS codes nearly every single day, crazy! …

My little business was born!

I first went solo back in 2020, and wow, it was scary but absolutely worth it! Initially I did this thing I like to call ‘panic servicing’ Which meant I was literally offering every type of service that I knew I could do, even the ones I weren’t too keen on - I needed to pay the bills of course!

After some time of offering a million different services I began to see my interests were focused more towards web design, so I streamlined my offerings to concentrate on services that, in my opinion, compliment web design seamlessly: SEO and branding.

Why the ethical Approach?

Put simply, I'm drawn to collaborating with organisations dedicated to making a positive impact on their community, the environment, wildlife, and anything else in between! Creating websites for such causes ignites my excitement and passion. Reflecting on my past experiences, I realise that not all website projects brought me joy.

It wasn't the clients or their businesses; it was a misalignment with my own values. As I've evolved, I've become increasingly intentional about aligning my work with my values, ensuring that each project I take on resonates deeply with my commitment to social and environmental good.

My personal life goals

Over the past few years  I've made intentional shifts in my personal lifestyle. I've embraced plant-based foods, become a regular blood donor, and started learning to grow wildflowers and vegetables.  As part of my commitment to sustainability, I plant five trees for every website I build, aiming to minimise my carbon footprint.

I have recently taken up volunteering as an ambassador and mentor for a youth trust organisation which helps young people start up their own businesses and improve their wellbeing. I hope my experience will prove useful to the younger generations.

I donate to various charities and good causes regularly. My latest is joining The Great British Dog Walk to help raise money for Hearing Dogs For The Deaf.
